Location

The City of St. Thomas, with a population of more than 36,000, is located in the heart of Southwestern Ontario. Halfway between Toronto and Detroit, and just minutes south of London, St. Thomas has long been the commercial centre of Elgin County. Today, the city continues its evolution from an agricultural centre, to a railway city, to a growing industrial and residential market, which serves a population of over 50,000.

St. Thomas is only an 8 minute drive from Canada's main transportation route, Highway 401. Three interchanges provide access to the Highway, including Wellington Road, Highway 4, or Highbury Avenue.

The climate of St. Thomas is characterized as pleasant and is highlighted by four distinct seasons. The average summer temperature is 77.5 Fº/25.3 Cº and average winter temperature is 35.6 Fº/2.0 Cº. Winter temperatures last from December to March and summer temperatures from June to September.
