For over 50 years, the St. Thomas Economic Development Corporation has been assisting businesses in the community. The St. Thomas EDC is a non-profit corporation that promotes the City of St. Thomas, the Municipality of Central Elgin, and Southwold Township.
The 15 member Board of Directors meets once a month to address Corporation business, review economic indicators, and discuss important issues relative to the area's economy.
The Corporation works to ensure that the local business environment is a healthy one that is attractive to outside investment and encourages the prosperity and expansion of all of those companies that call St. Thomas home.
