The downtown area offers a central location, distinctive architecture, and a busy atmosphere for commercial and residential interests.
Downtown businesses are represented by the Downtown Development Board. The Board operates under the authority of City Council and exists for the purposes of downtown promotion and beautification.
The St. Thomas Downtown Development Board is a volunteer, not for profit organization established for the main purpose of revitalizing the Central Business District of the City of St. Thomas. It is a designated as a Business Improvement Area (BIA) through the Ontario Municipal Act. The Board of Directors is comprised of the following members.
